Thank you for your interest in Yumiqo. Protecting your personal data matters to us. Below we inform you, in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR, about which data we process when you visit this website and when you sign up for our newsletter.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Yumiqo UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G.
Nina Pinsel (Managing Director)
Tal 44, 80331 München, Germany
Email: info@yumiqo.de
2. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right at any time to:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
If you have consented to processing, you can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to info@yumiqo.de is sufficient to exercise your rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify. The provider is Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you access the website, Netlify, as a processor, automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (server log files): including IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system identifier. This is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Netlify.
Data transfer to the USA: Since Netlify may also process data in the USA, a transfer to a third country takes place. This is safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or – where applicable – by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
4. Newsletter sign-up
You can sign up for our newsletter on our website. For this we process your email address and your first name.
Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after you register, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after your confirmation do we add you to the mailing list. This ensures that the sign-up genuinely comes from you. The time of sign-up and the IP address of the confirmation are logged for evidence purposes.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter email or by message to info@yumiqo.de. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.
Mailing service provider: for sending we use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köhlstraße 23, 50827 Cologne, or Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). Brevo processes your data as a processor on servers within the EU; a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place. Brevo also processes statistical data on newsletter delivery (e.g. whether an email was opened) in order to ensure deliverability.
5. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where it concerns a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for its operation; no consent is needed for these (Section 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Storage period
We process your data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. We store newsletter data until you withdraw your consent. Server log files are generally deleted or anonymised after a short time.
8. Data security
For security reasons, this website uses TLS/SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
